GOVT REGD NO: 8452
Trekking permits are of a different kind as per the rules of the Nepal government. Permits for normal trekking areas and restricted areas are available in Nepal. If you plan to trek in two different areas you need to have two trekking permits.
As per the rules, the TIMS (Trekkers’ Information Management System) card is a permit. This permit will let you travel to all major trekking areas of Nepal.
As listed in Nepal restricted areas have their own fees as imposed by the government of Nepal. These areas are secure with international border treaties and need extra care. So we recommend all the travelers to go through a trusted travel agency only. As all the agencies cannot get the permit of this area. For this one need to submit a passport along with the visa entry date and exit date.
