Tilicho Mesokanta Pass Trekking is an incredible mountain of the Annapurna region. This trek is peaceful and far exciting, but a bit hard to move forward. Tilicho Mesokanta La Pass Trekking is one of the adventurous trips of Annapurna. Walking and trekking through the trail of Tilicho Lake (4949m) we will reach Mesokanto la pass. Tilicho Mesokanta la Pass trekking begins with a drive from Kathmandu. We will visit Syange village following the trail of the raging Marshyangdi River. The trail goes by the Marshyangdi River and the ancient valley of Manang. This marvelous trek leads to the famous Annapurna circuit trail for a week. Finally heading into a remote isolated corner of Manang and Mustang region. Hiking around beautiful Tilicho Lake we will visit the Mustang area. We will cross the scenic high Mesokanta pass making it one of the memorable treks. With an introduction of the route, this trail has been one of the best-selling trails with us.

Today you will visit some of the best UNESCO heritage of Kathmandu. We will visit Kathmandu Durbar Square, Pashupatinath, and Bauddhanath. In the meantime, the Parikrama Treks team will complete all the necessary paper works.
We start early for our drive to Bulbule. On the way, we will enjoy the views of the terraced field while driving on the river bank. Once we reach Besisahar the road continues to be rocky to reach Bulbule.
We cross through various suspension bridges, waterfalls, and forests. Once we reach the cliff in Jagat, we can view the Marsyangdi Khola below and the rocky hills all around. The beehives at the top of the cliffs are an attraction of the day’s trip. In a short while, we reach Chamje where we spend the night.
We will begin the day by trekking uphill following the cool Marshyangdi river to reach Tal (1,657m). We will have entered the Manang district by now. We can see different centuries-old Chortens here. From here, we will ascend to reach Bagarchhap (2,160m) which is a small Buddhist village. In this village, we can see the influence of Tibetan culture.
Today we will trek uphill on a rocky trail to reach Tyanja (2,360m). We will walk through the forests and on the bank of rivers to reach Kopar (2,590m). From there, we will trek uphill to Chame (2,630m). It is a small town and also the headquarter of the Manang district. We can have a breathtaking view of the Annapurna range. There are two hot springs here where we can take a bath.
We will trek through a deep forest and a narrow valley today. We will cross beautiful rivers on wooden bridges and suspension bridges at heights of 2,910m and 3,040m. we will have beautiful views of mountains all along to keep us refreshed. From here, we will climb to Pisang which is at a height of 3,200m.
We will trek through the dried terrain of the Manang district. From Pisang, we can choose a route north or south of Marsyangdi and reach Mungji. The southern route of Hongde is easier as it involves less climbing. So we will skip the northern route of Ghyaru. Yet, the northern route is more scenic than the former. From Mungji, we will trek upwards through Bryanga (3,475m) to reach Manang (3,500m).
We will spend the day exploring and acclimatizing to the climate and terrain of Manang. We will walk or go for very short hikes. We can go to viewpoints from where we can get a great view of the Annapurna range. In the evening we will come back to our hotel and have a good dinner and a good night’s sleep.
Today we will see the huge influence of Buddhist culture and traditions on the trail. We will divert from the main trail of the main Annapurna circuit trail from Manang. We will follow through Sri-Kharka to reach Khangsar on route Tiliocho Lake.
After a short downhill, we take an uphill over high land to reach Tilicho Lake. Tilicho Lake is blessed with amazing views of surrounding snow-capped peaks. We stay at a nice lodge located by the bank of emerald Tilicho lake. From here we enjoy the view of Tilicho peak, Annapurna III, and Gangapurna mountain.
Today trail takes us to the base of Mesokanto-La or Tilicho Base Camp. We will have one of the highest overnight camps of this adventure at 4,800 meters high. If we are lucky we get the chance of seeing some wildlife like antelopes, musk deer, or an elusive snow leopard.
We start early morning to cross two high passes. Today we will head high slope traversing Tilicho pass. Later we take a short descend to the base of Mesokanta pass, with short rest. We climb the last pass of this adventure over Mesokanto-la at 5,099 meters. From the top, we can see Buddhist prayer flags with the best view of the trek. After feeling high with the tough climb, descend on the trail to Jomsom.
The road from Marpha to Kalopani is through a new trial. We walk past Chokhopani village which is a traditional Thakali village. The panoramic views of the Himalayas include Nilgiri, Dhaulagiri. It also includes Tukuche, Annapurna, and many other snow-capped peaks. From here we cross a river and a roadway to finally reach Jomsom.
Today we will take an early flight from Jomsom to Pokhara. Pokhara is the trekker's hub destination for trekking in Western Nepal. We can enjoy the natural attraction of this place. The rest of the day is free to relax and enjoy.
Today we will either take a flight drive all the way back to Kathmandu. While on the drive we can enjoy greeneries, mountains, river gorges.
