Tengboche Dumji Festival Trek is an incredible festival of Sherpa Community located in the Everest Region. This festival is celebrated in the honor of the birth of the lotus flower in the anniversary of Guru Rinpoche. This festival fall during the month of July and monsoon is still pouring its rain to the land of High Himalayas. During this month all the Sherpa from Kathmandu to Helambu will celebrate this festival. With all the crops being planted on our way to trek we will celebrate with dancing and merry making in addition to the rituals performed by the monks of Khumbu region.

Tengboche Dumji Festival Trek takes about 2 week including your arrival and departure from the Land of Himalayas and celebrating the festival until it will last. We start with our early flight to Lukla and commencing forward with the hike of Pkhading, Namche Bazaar, and finally reaching to Tengboche. We will take our time to celebrate Dumji festival and visiting Pangboche where this festival was founded by Lama Sangawa Dorji 360 years ago bringing together the monastic community ever since. This festival fo 4 days is a complete package for you to enjoy the High Himalayas Culture, religion, dance to understand the real meaning of Dumji Festival. Finally we descend downhill leaving the foothill of Everest and reaching to Lukla for our flight to Kathmandu

Tengboche Dumji Festival Trek in the Khumbu region is performed by Tengboche Monks in Tengboche and dates may vary each year so be sure to check with the agency that has the best knowledge of High Himalayas festival which is only celebrated in the Land of Nepal. This festival is also celebrated in Tencgboche, Namche Bazar, Khumjung and Pangboche of Khumbu region and Junbesi of Solu, we can develop package according to your time frame cost or as per your interest to spend your day in the high Himalayas .
