Island Peak Climbing 6,189 M is a fantastic experience in the most popular and beautiful peak in the Himalayas of Nepal. This peak lies in the Everest region. The name Island peak was given by the climbing teal of Eric Shipton. It was first explore while preparing for the upcoming climbing Expedition of Everest Expedition in 1953 by British Team and Tenzing Norgay Sherpa. This peak can also be know as Imja-Tse peak as per the Tibetan Language.
This Climbing Expedition is specially designed for energetic and physically fit trekkers best suited for little or no experience climbers. This Climbing can also be offered to the climbers who plan to summit to the Top of Everest. Island peak is one of the main climbing peak destination located in the Everest Region of Nepal with an impressive and highly glaciated west face that rises from the Lhotse Glacier.
This Island Peak climbing starts after your arrival in Kathmandu and your flight to Lukla while following the classic route of Everest until Dengboche and getting us tented at the altitude of 5000 m before commencing to the top of Island peak. You start your Island peak summit on the early morning as you walk on black and white rich parts of Island peak base camp to 5800 M. Once we reach to this base camp we get our self equipped with climbing gears to cross the blue ice crevasses and start to hang up in 45 degree inclined to reach the top. Once you reach the top you will be offered with an amazing views of Lhotse, Nuptsem Ama Dablam, Baruntse, Amphu, Mera.
If you are a beginner climber wishing to enter the incredible world of mountain climbing in the Himalayas this is the perfect gateway to your dream of climbing. Every year there will be hundred of climbers getting the permit of Island peak and taking the adventure to the heartland of Khumkbu region.
You will also get an opportunity to add the most popular trekking destination to the foot of World ultimate Everest Base Camp and visit Kalapatthar for the close up vie of Mt Everest and other Himalaya of Khumbu Region.
