The airstrips to Surkhet and Jumla open the trek route to the beautiful lake Rara. A long mountain paths and a series of picturesque villages, one reaches in for to five days the magnigicent banks of the Rara lake. Rara lake, northwest of Kathamdnu is an exhilarating 4 - 5 days trek from Jumla air - strip. Jumla is a trans - Himalayan valley with high ridges covered with forest and alpine pastures. The route is very much off the beaten tracks and offers glimpse of cultures and scenery much different from that in the rest of Nepal. Jumla town ( 2340m) is located in a delightful valley and the villages have many archeological monuments dating back to the medieval times.

Rara Lake is 28 kilometers north of Jumla . It is situated at an altitude of 2,980 m .The Rara national parik hoses Musk - Deers,Goral,Serows,Wild dogs and the Himalaysn black bears. It also houses colorful birds such as blood Pheasants, Snow cocks etc!

 
 ITINERARY:
 Day 01: Arrive Kathmandu. Meet & transfer to Hotel. O/N Hotel.
 Day 02: helf day sightseeing tour of Kathmandu valley. O/N Hotel.
 Day 03: Drive to Khari Dhunga. O/N Camp.

 Day 04: 

Trek to Chauri Kharka. O/N Camp.
 Day 05: Trek to Koori. O/N Camp.
 Day 06: Trek to Tare Bhir. O/N Camp.
 Day 07: Trek to Bigu Gomba. O/N Camp
 Day 08: Trek to Tin Sangla. O/N Camp.
 Day 09: Rest day for local excursion. O/N Camp.
 Day 10: Trek to Dolang Sha. O/N Camp.
 Day 11: Trek to Barabise and drive back to Kathmandu. O/N Hotel.
 Day 12: In Kathmandu for independent activities. O/N Hotel.  
 Day 13: Transfer to airport for departure.
 

Cost Includes:
9 days trekking, 04 night accommodation in Kathmandu on twin sharing in a 3 star hotel on B&B plan, all meals 3 times a day i.e. breakfast, lunch & dinner prepared cook, Accommodation in teahouses/lodge entire the trekking and camping /tented during the trekking, All staff tent, member tent, kitchen tent, dining tent, toilet tent, shower tent with shower equipment, table and chairs, hot water bag for bed and Pillow and - cooking utensils for trekking, A english speaking professional trekking guide license holder, porters ( 1 porter carries the luggage up to 25 kgs of 2 participants during the trek), insurance for the Nepalese staff, Entry Permit for National Park Permits fee, Tims Permit per person, all necessary transportation/arrival & departure by private vehicles.

 

Excludes:
Expenses of personal nature, personal gears, hard/soft drinks, personal medication, rescue in case of emergency & Tipping (tips).
