A longer and more varied trek to the Base Camp, which is in fact the old Mt. Everest expedition route used on the first successful ascent, starts from Jiri. This trek passes through spectacular villages with exotic monasteries in Junbeshi (2675 m) to and to Khartung which offers the first view of Everestand host of other peaks like Thamserku (6608 m), Kantega (6779 m), Kusum Kangru (6367 m) and Mera Peak (6654 m). Further to Traksindo Pass (3071 m) and Ringmo this is a regionless frequented and crowded by other trekkers. The trek emerges high up in the Khumbu valley and follows the trail to Everest Base Camp. Trek ends with a flight back to Kathmandu.

 
 ITINERARY:
 Day 01: Upon arrival in Kathmandu airport and transfer you to your Hotel.
 Day 02: Early morning drive to Jiri 188km by bus. Overnight
 Day 03: Trek to Deorali:
 Day 04: Trek to Sate (2575m).
 Day 05: Trek to Junbesi (2675m).
 Day 06: Trek to Nuntala
 Day 07: Trek to Kharihola
 Day 08: Trek to Puiyan
 Day 09: Trek to Phakding:
 Day 10: Trek to Namche
 Day 11: Rest in Namche 
 Day 12: Trek to Phortse Thanga
 Day 13: Trek to Machermo
 Day 14: Trek to Gokyo
 Day 15: Explore Gokyo lake & trek Gokyo Ri
 Day 16: Trek to Thangnak                           
 Day 17: Trek to Cho-la to Dzongla                                       
 Day 18: Trek to Lobuche
 Day 19: 1st trek to Gorakshep and Kala Pathar, return Gorakshep
 Day 20: 2nd To Everest base camp and rtn to Lobuche     
 Day 21: Tengboche
 Day 22: Trek to Namche
 Day 23: Trek to Lukla
 Day 24: AM flight Lukla - Kathmandu- free day or shopping in Kathmandu.
 Day 25: These are "cushion" days in case bad weather or other circumstances delay your return to Kathmandu. Otherwise, they can be used for sightseeing around Kathmandu valley or free for shopping days. O/N Hotel
 Day 26: Depart Katmandu
 

Cost Includes:
23 days trekking, 03 nights accommodation in Kathmandu in a 3 Star  hotel on bed & breakfast basis, trekking guide, porter, three meals i.e. breakfast, lunch and dinner, insurance for the Nepalese staff, Sagarmatha national park and TIMS permit fee; necessary transportation and flight from Kathmandu/ Lukla/ Kathmandu.

 

Excludes:
Expenses of personal nature, personal gears, hard/soft drinks, personal medication, rescue in case of emergency and
tips.
