The ultimate challenge is the trek across Cho La Pass (5,420m), which takes 18-21 days and covers both the Gokyo Lake area and the Everest Base Camp. There are some short and interesting "climbs" of Gokyo Ri, Chukkung Ri and Kalapatthar for the classic views of icefalls and glaciers of Mahalangur Himalayan range which comprises of five major 8000+ m. peaks - Everest, Cho O Yu, Lhotse, Lhotse Shar and Makalu..

 
 ITINERARY:
 Day 01: Arrival in Kathmandu, pick up from airport. Transfer to the hotel.
 Day 02: Fly from Kathmandu to Lukla (2886m.).Trek to Phakding (2640m.).
 Day 03: Trek to Namche Bazaar (3444m).   
 Day 04: Rest day at Namche Bazaar: Acclimatization.
 Day 05: Namche Bazaar to Dole (4200m): Trek.
 Day 06: Dole to Machhermo (4470m): Trek.
 Day 07: Trek, Machchhermo to Gokyo (4790 m.). 4 hrs.
 Day 08: Rest day at Gokyo: Climb at Gokyo ~Ri.
 Day 09 Gokyo to Thangna (4950m): Trek.
 Day 10: Cross Cho-La pass (5330 m.) descend to Dzongla (4830 m.). 7 hrs.
 Day 11: Trek, Dzongla to Lobuche (4930 m.). 3 hrs.
 Day 12: Trek, Lobuche to Gorakshep (5140 m.). 3 hrs. Evening trek to Everest Base Camp (6 hrs).
 Day 13: Morning, excursion to Kalapatthar (5545 m.). 3 hrs. Then return to Dingboche (4343 m.). 6 hrs.
 Day 14: Trek, Dingboche to Tyengboche (3867 m.). 4 hrs.
 Day 15: Trek, Tyengboche to Monjo (2840 m.). 6 hrs.
 Day 16: Trek, Monjo to Lukla (2850 m.). 4 hrs.
 Day 17: AM: Flight from Lukla to- Kathmandu- free day or shopping in Kathmandu.
 Day 18: These are "cushion" days in case bad weather or other circumstances delay your return to Kathmandu. Otherwise, they can be used for sightseeing around Kathmandu valley or free for shopping days. O/N Hotel
 Day 19: Free until departure transfer to airport.END OF SERVICE
 

Cost Includes:
16 days trekking, 03 night accommodation in Kathmandu on twin sharing in a 3 star hotel on B&B plan, all meals 3 times a day i.e. breakfast, lunch & dinner prepared at lodge, Accommodation in teahouses/lodge during the trek, A english speaking professional trekking guide license holder, porters ( 1 porter carries the luggage up to 25 kgs of 2 participants during the trek), insurance for the Nepalese staff, Entry Permit for Sagarmatha National Park & TIMS card, all necessary transportation/arrival/departure by private vehicles.

Excludes:
Expenses of personal nature, personal gears, hard/soft drinks, personal medication, and roundtrip flights ticket from Kathmandu./Lukla/ Kathmandu. (inlcudes insurance surcharge and fuel surcharge/subject to change), rescue in case of emergency & Tipping (tips).
